Glossary
- Inverter – A device that converts DC power from a battery source into AC power, that can be used for daily appliances.
- Photovoltaic Energy – A clean renewable energy source that relies on solar radiation to produce electricity.
- Module Efficiency (Solar Panel) – Is defined by the amount of solar radiation that hits the surface of the solar module and is converted into electricity.
- Half Cell (Solar Panel) – Traditional solar cells that have been spliced in half by a laser cutter.
- Module Type (Solar Panel) – Refers to the arrangement of the solar cells in a solar panel.
